•  The site for Footeside Centre was dedicated on October 15th 2005

October 2008

Once the blustery afternoon of Saturday the 13th was over the weather settled just in time for the start of
Footeside Centre’s informal gathering to some 40 people.
The twilight still air allowed the sounds of native birdlife to be clearly heard
and for us to appreciate the true beauty of the location.

It had been just on 3 years since the dedication of the sight for
Footeside Centre on Peter & Linda Hoffmann’s farm.

The centre’s board decided that it was time to remind people that “we are alive and well”
& to show that we are fully dedicated in getting the centre up & running.
Making it a place in which people can have a life changing transition being released
into the freedom that God has for them so that they can be all that they were created to be.

With a beautiful starry moonlit night, bonfire ablaze and BBQ cooking a near perfect atmosphere
was set so that new friendships could be made as people from Eudunda,
Barossa Valley & Adelaide came to be a part of the evening’s gathering.

Progress

Two date palms were planted along the driveway entering the approved Footeside Centre during
the Dedication of the site on Saturday October 15 at 3-30 pm. With overcast skies and a few raindrops
approx 35 people gathered to praise God, bless the venture and plant the palms. A barbeque and
bonfire were enjoyed by those who stayed. The Board of Footeside Centre would like the thank
Michael Reimann for supplying the holes for the palms and clearing the entrance.
